The APTF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the professional development, training, education, and achievement of young professionals pursuing careers in public transportation. Proceeds of these events benefit the APTF scholarship fund.

Past Events

October 1, 2011: A special reception and dinner was held for Bill Millar to celebrate his 40 years in the public transportation industry and 15 years as APTA President. Net proceeds from the event benefited the American Public Transportation Foundation (APTF). Read more >

October 2010: The 2010 American Public Transportation Program, held in San Antonio, Texas, during APTA's Annual Meeting, was hosted by 2010 renewal scholarship winners Marc Scott and Kristen Lynn Sheleheda. Read more >
