Celebrating 20 Years: The American Public Transportation Foundation
In 1988, the APTF awarded its first scholarships to deserving young professionals pursuing careers in public transportation in order to sustain growth and improvement in the industry. To date, the APTF has awarded more than 100 scholarships. This is a growth industry and people are needed to support this growth and changes in the industry. Public transportation is an exciting profession with tremendous opportunities. We believe in building the next generation of leaders now and into the future. 2007 APTF Scholarship Renewals
Congratulations to the 2007 recipients of renewal scholarships. Based on the availability of funds, renewable scholarships are available for each year of the academic program provided the recipient maintains good standing in the approved field of study, is an active employee or participant in an internship program or educational program and is sponsored by an APTA member.
