Fifteenth Annual Benefit Golf Tournament

On Tuesday, June 5th, 107 players experienced the ultimate golfing challenge at the beautiful Royal Woodbine golf club in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in support of the American Public Transportation Foundation’s 15th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the tournament fund scholarships for young professionals pursuing careers in public transportation.

Congratulations to the winning team: Nancy Butler, Robert Bryant, Ted Axt and Terry Gohde.   Special celebrity guest player, Jack Valiquette, former Toronto Maple Leaf hockey player, joined the tournament. The Foundation thanks Go Transit for providing transportation and volunteers to help make the tournament a complete success.  A special thank you to: Jennifer Beck, Edmund Shea, Nancy Buttu, Sonia Hakimi, Colleen Reitzel, bus drivers Dave Stephen and Tim Mugford, the GO Transit volunteer team.

 Congratulations and thank you to Linda Bohlinger, chair of the APTF golf tournament committee, for another great golfing event.  The tournament has become one of the most popular fundraising events for the foundation.
