I chose public transportation because of what we do. We help communities connect to the things that improve their life – for example: public transit helps people get to work, to a doctor’s appointment, to the market, and it helps to clear the air for future generations. I am proud to work in an industry that helps keep communities connected and is growing to provide options that are more sustainable and cleaner for our environment.
The APTF Scholarship helped unlock my potential. Not only did it provide financial assistance to pursue my MBA, but it also gave me the opportunity to connect with several transit leaders across the nation. The connections that I made were invaluable because they offered career advice, tremendous insight on the industry, and helped me develop marketing ideas and the techniques to execute them.
